Dalam tiga tahun terakhir (2015-2017), dosen di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Undiksha telah melaksanakan 68 judul penelitian dengan banyak dosen tetap 21 orang, sehingga rata-rata setiap dosen melakukan penelitian per tiga tahun adalah 3,24 penelitian. Dengan demikian, aktifitas dosen dalam kegiatan penelitian tergoling kategori sangat baik. Penelitian itu terlaksana karena dukungan pendanaan dari berbagai sumber, diantaranya yaitu dana dari Kemenristekdikti, dana dari PT yang bersangkutan (Undiksha), dan terdapat dari pembiayaan sendiri oleh peneliti.
